Arlington Diner in Stroudsburg

My boyfriend and i ate here while meeting up at a local hotel. I did my research on this place. They were right. They food is the best we have ever eaten, including chain restaurants. We absolutely love their food and the staff and owners are fantastic. We will definitely be back next month and will try and book hotels close to this diner. We will try something different each time. I definitely recommend coming here. He got the chicken philly cheese steak, it was huge and at a great price. I got the grilled chicken with broiled crabcakes and provolone cheese with a side of their buttered parsley potatoes and pickled beets. All were to die for and a great price.

Food was good and hot. Especially the pancakes. They offered a variety of herbal teas, as well as syrup with and without sugar for thise with specific dietary needs. I liked that.

Great food, nice people and hot coffee. Everything you expect from a local diner. You cant go wrong here.

This has always been a go to place for us when visiting the Poconos but the last time we were disappointed. My wife ordered the Grilled Chicken Cesar salad and it was drenched in dressing to the point it was inedible. When she mentioned it to the waitress, she was basically told that’s the way they make it and was dismissed. No apology or offer to fix it. The other meals ordered were tasty and thoroughly enjoyed

What a great Diner. Not only does the food come out hot it’s delicious. So many items i highly recommended. While using high quality ingredients the chef who is the owner makes many home made dishes. Friendly staff, never wait long for your order and the best coffee in town. It’s no wonder why this Diner has won best Diner many times.

I was told this diner was equal to others in the area. The food was cold and had to be taken back. I won't be back again.

Great place to stop, never had a problem with service or food quality. And the Diner goes out of their way with fundraising for special groups and families in need

Like it. Good place to eat! Hone made food in a Diner! Wish places like this would come back. Everything is rush, rush, etc. Sit down and eat good food plus have a Nice Waitress and have good conversation. Enjoy your food. Don't shove it down your throat!

Very nice place to go to. I came here for some ice cream and I ended up getting a delicious milkshake with strawberry ice cream. But the only issue was that it took them like 10-15 minutes to make the shakes. And I would understand that it took them so long if the were busy, but they weren't busy at all, there were only 3 people there. But other than that it was a good experience. I would recommend this place!

The food was a reasonable price, however the fries were just the end pieces and the baked potato was dried out! The Baked Haddock was just ok!

Best breakfast in stroudsburg! Food is always fresh and delicious and the process are great too! I highly recommend this place.

The service and food were just adequate. The food took forever to come out. The server took forever to take our order to begin with and then the food was just ok. And the server didn't come back to check until we were nearly done. The place was not at all busy.

I would have taken a photo but I was too busy scarfing down my meal: the Supreme Meatloaf Melt which is exactly as supreme as you might imagine. Rich and flavorful but not for the diet conscious. I swapped out the side of fries for coleslaw in the hopes of offsetting the mayo/butter/cheese that made the sandwich so good. Then I got the coconut cream pie which made no sense according to my logic one sentence ago but I have no regrets.

This is a classic place! It's been in business for thousands of years. It has excellent food at reasonable prices, and the wait staff is very friendly. My waitress has been working at the diner for 40 years! And to top it off, they have homemade pies for dessert.

Roast Pork Romeo sandwich is super delish!! Yankee pot roast was tender.Split pea...yummy!!

Food was good nothing special however treat people equally and in a better mood. When I asked for things the waiter was very rude and felt her eyes looking at me and my family the whole time in disgust. Remember Whatever I eat I pay and that money is what you make for living and this is not the first time it happens.

I have no negative comments about this place waitress was always attentive. Food came out fast. Everybody is very friendly. Prices very good.

Very nice! Bring your appetite! Very good, delicious food and huge servings. Husband loved the chicken stir-fry and I really liked the hot roast beef and mashed potatoes... yum!

Dinner choice Saturday around 5:30. The experience started when I got out of the truck in the parking lot and smell in the air was delicious. Friendly staff and clean facility. Ordered the sampler basket and Gyro with a side of gravy fries. Everything was great. The food tasted home made from the broccoli and cheese bites to the marinara for the mozzarella sticks. Would definitely come back again.

Waitress saw I didn't touch this horrible ham steak and didn't ask about it until I was leaving. After I expressed my disinterest in it because it looked horrible plus it was spewing grease the moment you touched it (gross), she took it back to the kitchen as I paid my bill. Someone else would get my grease sponge.

Love my breakfast and this place delivers! Coffee is terrific and my eggs were exactly as I ordered. The bacon was incredible as well. Bacon seems to be the only reason I have breakfast lol

Good old "old fashion " diner.I eat breakfast there 4 to 5 times a week. Have my coffee ready before I can sit down. Other meals good also. Family place run by a family for years.

Great diner. Food is wonderful. Tasty comfort foods and homemade specials. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Food comes out fast and hot. Love this place. It's my goto eating establishment at least once a week if not more. Very reasonably priced food. Highly recommend.

A small town diner with big flavor and a wide selection of food. In town for a few days and I'm definitely glad we stopped in for a bite. Service was excellent and so were the prices.

We have been here several times, never had a bad experience. But yesterday I brought my parents to have a nice diner since I know the food is always good, we ordered chicken Caesar salads, the salads were not edible very soggy, and super salty I guess due to an excessive amount of grated Parmesan cheese. My mother tried and literally started coughing. What bothers me is that I mentioned to the waiter (not complaining or trying to get refunded) but she could care less... She said “next time ask for the salad dressing on the side” really! Anyway prices are good at least. But frankly I don’t mind paying more as long as the food is good!

food was so good. even the roast beef just fell apart. i would recommend them to anyone. i had gotten broccoli cheese bites, the house combo which is pot roast and chicken. I was feeling torn between the combo and the meatloaf so i got a slice of meatloaf on the side which was just super awesome and good. if you are looking for food that will take you back and is just relaxing i say stop in at Arlington Diner. 5/5 will end up coming back

I have gone to Arlington Diner many times over the years. I even worked there for a brief time in the 90's. The owners are wonderful and the staff are friendly. My husband generally orders the same food; cheeseburgers with fries and mozzarella sticks. Never has an issue, and likes the burgers.I have ordered a variety of dishes from the regular menu to the specials of the day. The soups are pretty good, but the rest of the food is average. The seasonings are a bit off, and sauces need to be rebuilt. Had the 6 Oz strip steak with broiled shrimp and broccoli last time. I never order steak anywhere. The strip steak should be a little more tender. Maybe pound it out a little if you can't forecast how many orders for the evening. The shrimp wasn't too bad, but hit it with seasonings first, and also season the butter, even if there is just a small amount. The broccoli was good. We will continue to patronize the Arlington because overall it is a decent place.

Pot roast never tasted better. Great food and terrific service plus budget prices. Early bird specials for anyone over 55.

We stop by here for breakfast from time to time. Always have good food. Service is fast. Really fast. A great place for a good meal.

Premade salads... You cannot customize and very soggy from being prepared in advance. So disappointing for a diner. What happened to a customer getting what they want?? On the other hand, my husband said his club sandwich was delicious.

Good food, homey atmosphere, decent prices.

I love this place. I've been eating there since my folks built a house in the area more than 20 years ago and can say that it has been tasty every time. If comfort food and family friendly is what you are looking for, this is the place. Value is unbeatable.
